Thomas - here's a thought. We are Lions, There are three lions on the shirt. Richard The Lionheart in our heritage.
We rolled over for the Euros against Italy. We rolled over to let Argentina win. Well, you set us on the back foot to defend, so they could attack, so we lost.
I would rather go down fighting for another goal than defend to win or loose.
One nil up, let's make it 3.

FIFA?
DAMAGING THE GAME
A peak audience of 24 million people tuned in to watch England's defeat by Argentina in the World Cup semi-final, making it the most watched live television event in the past five years on BBC.
And way I saw Donald Trump and Gianni Infantino on stage as Trump received the FIFA Peace prize. And it had me say NO MORE. It prompted a song. Then a protest petition.
But - well I'm not really a Mr Nasty campaigning guy. And I undestand we all want to watch. So I let it be... Something to learn in this for me.
My protest of DON'T GO DON'T WATCH had me listening on the radio as a one person protest. Still getting adverts! I did watch the last fifteen minutes of England v France in a bar.
It's not my character to do this yet I absolutely believe in what's below. Football is being weakened. My Premier League with it's many and long International breaks being broken up with no flow. Players taken away. Premier League rolls over.
And maybe I am not alone? Aleksander Ceferin was elected Uefa president in 2016 and boycotted the final. And UEFA say they will make games affordable.
La Liga president Javier Tebas has called for Fifa president Gianni Infantino to step down.

And there at the end of WC26 as Mt Trump seeks a way of walking to centre stage as cup is held aloft and Mr Infantino runs across that stage area to help him leave the two men are again happy together.... As they were on stage one giving his award to his friend a while back.

ONE MAN BOYCOTT
03JUL26 - I'm Not Watching - and I'm fine!
I'm busy, and I'm not promoting this. Actually I don't want to rain on people's parade. My mate went to Vancouver and LA and had a brilliant time.
So I'm a One Man, unwatched and unlistened to campaign provoked by anger. Which is perhaps not the best motivation. And that's fine. It was the arrogance and craziness of Trump and Infantino on stage that was step too far for me.
I still believe that a focus on enabling the Common Fan to attend would benefit the game and the planet. But I see the likelihood of that happening... Right now.... As a pipe dream... It's all about the money, and there is a lot of gold.
